Crochet wreath ornament
Materials:
• Green & red worsted weight yarn or smaller.
• Crochet hook (I used 4.5 mm with worsted weight yarn).
• Keychains (optional).
• Scissors.
Abbreviations:
MR- Magic ring
St- Stitch
Dc- Double crochet
Slst- Slip stitch
FO- Fasten off
Ch- Chain
Wreath
Start with a large MR (all wreath petals will need to fit).
Ch2
(3 dc into MR, slst) repeat this pattern until you have 8 wreath petals.
You might need to use your fingers to shift petals down as you continue so all fit in the MR.
FO and weave strings into project to hide.
Close MR but do not too tight. Leave a center hole for your wreath.
Add keychain or thread string through the top of your wreath to make an ornament.
Bow
You can either tie your bow separately and use hot glue to attach it to your wreath or weave the red yarn through the bottom of the bow and tie it directly onto your project (see photo).
